Quarter cream paper, gilt spine titling, decorative paper over boards; binding square and tight, top board slightly bowed, shelf wear, minor sunning to top edge. Very Good. The Johnson brothers selected a group of early literary works and designed specimen title pages and pages of text to accompany them, displaying a variety of typefaces, page designs, printer's ornaments, initials, and illustrations.
